Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical labor including bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet
  • Ability to lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability for occasional travel to assist other properties or attend training
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently

Job Duties

  • Inspect the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter
  • Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage areas, and clean and maintain storage areas
  • Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make-ready specialist in apartment turnovers
  • Change all locks according to property policy and ensure all pool area gates operate according to safety codes and standards
  • Distribute notices and communications to residents as required
  • Report any observed hazards or potentially dangerous situations to appropriate supervisors
  • Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect, responding to questions, and addressing complaints regarding maintenance services
  • Comply with all Greystar safety and risk-management policies including attending safety meetings, completing OSHA training, and reporting incidents promptly and accurately
