Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying, and crawling in confined spaces
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to push or pull weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and take on-call shifts
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or support at other properties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license required to operate golf cart on property
- Basic knowledge of property maintenance and safety standards
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable, and clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager, and assist the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Change all locks in accordance with property policies and ensure gates to pool areas work according to codes and safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Inform supervisors of any observed hazards or potentially dangerous situations
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect, answering questions, and responding to maintenance complaints sensitively
