Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Ability to attend occasional training, meetings, or travel as required
- Previous experience in property maintenance preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or groundskeeping preferred
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, carrying weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of safety and risk management practices
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings ensuring all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Removes trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to starting make-ready process, transfers trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable, and cleans and maintains storage areas
- Completes assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by service supervisor and/or community manager, and assists the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Changes all locks in accordance with the property's policy and ensures gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
- Distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Informs appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests and others
- Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
- Complies with Greystar's safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
