Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license to operate golf carts
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Ability to work in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet
- Capability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or property support
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or similar roles advantageous
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and maneuvering weights up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Valid driver's license required to operate golf carts onsite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance requirements
Job Duties
- Inspect the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
- Ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter
- Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make-ready process
- Transfer trash to dumpsters or storage areas as applicable
- Clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete minor and routine service requests assigned by supervisors
- Assist make-ready specialists with the turnover process
- Change locks according to property policy
- Ensure pool area gates function safely and are code-compliant
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed
- Report hazards or dangerous situations promptly
- Exhibit customer service skills by addressing resident questions and complaints respectfully
- Participate in safety meetings and comply with OSHA and risk management policies
- Report accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
