Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl
- Capacity to lift and maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or property assistance
- Commitment to complying with safety training and OSHA regulations
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
- Experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety and risk-management procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of lock changing and property safety codes
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, ensure common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage, clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager
- Assist the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Change all locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates comply with safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Report any hazards or dangerous situations to appropriate supervisors
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents respectfully and responding sensitively to maintenance complaints
- Comply with safety and risk-management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required training, and report incidents promptly
