Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three years experience in facility maintenance or mechanical repair
- strong organizational skills
- ability to operate power washer, backpack blower, floor scrubber, and carpet cleaner
- knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety laws
- basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
- excellent customer service skills
- professional judgment and discretion
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Duties
- Report grounds and curb appeal concerns to Community Manager and Service Manager
- perform repairs independently or with Service Manager
- provide excellent customer service with task completion daily
- conduct thorough daily inspections and maintain grounds free of trash and debris
- operate grounds maintenance tools and equipment safely
- assist with quarterly community audits and preventative maintenance
- participate in technical training to enhance knowledge and skills
- maintain property aesthetics to meet Garrett Residential standards
- perform additional duties as assigned by Community Manager and Service Manager
