Job Requirements
- Entry level to 6 months of general custodial or maintenance experience
- Beginning level understanding of grounds maintenance
- Ability to use hand and power tools and cleaning equipment applicable to job requirements
- Communication and effective interaction with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a company or personal vehicle or electrical cart
- Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities
- Ability to independently lift or carry supplies or equipment up to 65 lbs

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, district office, pool, recreation areas, parking lots and other areas surrounding the community
- Remove trash from grounds, office areas, homes, and the surrounding community perimeter on a daily basis
- Detail interior and exterior areas regularly, using general cleaning tools and equipment
- Assist with snow shoveling where applicable of sidewalks and main entry areas
- Assist in the preparation of make ready units including removal of trash, touch up paint, and general cleaning
- Assist with physical tasks including carrying and removal of abandoned furniture, tools, appliances, and equipment
- Assist with repairs, replacement and installation of window and door screens, lightbulbs, and other fixtures
- Clean and maintain storage and shop areas
- Assist Service Technicians when needed
- Perform minor interior and exterior touch up painting and caulking
- Clean air conditioning vents, replace air filters and smoke detectors
- Perform any additional routine cleaning and maintenance as requested
- Report maintenance concerns to management
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations, local health and safety laws, and Liberty Military Housing policies
- Understand and follow safe work practices for all trades including lockout tag-out, confined space entry, use of hazardous chemicals and personal protective equipment
- Operate company or personal vehicle to travel to various work locations
