Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- ability to work well with others and as part of a team
- ability to take direction and work independently
- previous groundskeeper or porter experience helpful but not required
- the ability to frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs
- knowledge of general maintenance, make-ready of unit duties including trash out, cleaning and painting
- housekeeping and cleaning tasks

Job Duties
- Clean up trash from around the property dumpsters or trash chutes, always ensuring a clean and tidy appearance
- clean the pool area and arrange pool furniture
- maintain cleanliness of the leasing office and all amenity and common areas ensuring general cleanliness of grounds, laundry rooms, walkways, streets, driveways, parking lots, entrances, foyers, breezeways, recreational areas, etc
- perform exterior building light checks and assist with repairs and replacement of lights
- complete trash out of vacated apartments designated by supervisor and prepare unit for make-ready
- complete carpet repairs and clean and shampoo carpet as needed
- complete minor repairs to walls, doors, wood trim, closets and cabinets and ready for painting
- report major repair or cleaning problems to management
- re-key master locks and make keys available for leasing prior to move-in
