Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- ability to lift and carry weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- capability to work standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- be able to safely operate golf cart on property
- pass any required background checks and drug screenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred
- valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart
- basic knowledge of property maintenance and safety standards
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
- ensure common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- remove trash and items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process
- transfer trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable
- clean and maintain storage areas
- complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by service supervisor or community manager
- assist the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- change all locks in accordance with property policy
- ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
- distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- inform supervisors of any observed hazards or potentially dangerous situations
- demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect, answering questions, and responding to maintenance service complaints
- comply with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting accidents promptly
