Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year groundskeeping experience preferred
- valid driver’s license
- dependable transportation
- ability to work outdoors in local climate
- ability to safely use manual and power tools weighing up to 40 pounds
- ability to safely carry, set-up, and climb ladders and scaffolding weighing up to 125 pounds reaching heights of 40 feet
- ability to assist in transporting items up to 250 pounds using hand trucks and climbing stairs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of groundskeeping experience preferred
- valid driver’s license
- dependable transportation
- ability to use manual and power tools safely
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 40 pounds and climbing ladders up to 40 feet
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Conduct daily inspections of common areas
- maintain cleanliness and order in office and shop areas
- enforce trash standards and issue notices
- perform weekly irrigation system checks
- oversee trash compactor and pool maintenance during season including on-call duties
- keep community areas free of garbage and debris
- perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
- ensure gated entrances and security equipment are operational and report issues
- maintain records of scheduled equipment maintenance
- monitor and manage inventory of tools and equipment
- suggest improvements to increase efficiency
