Job Requirements
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Proficiency using large industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and large industrial vacuums
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible and willing to work various shifts including additional hours
- Good interpersonal skills and polite demeanor

Job Duties
- Daily interior cleanliness of buildings including general cleaning of common areas such as cleaning spills, windows, window coverings, vacuuming, sweeping, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
- Daily trash handling and removal including emptying compactors, breaking down and tying cardboard boxes, and bringing trash and recyclables curbside for removal
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy by removing items left behind and leaving units in broom-swept condition
- Perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including walls, parking lots, walkways, gardens, outdoor furnishings, pools, curbs, gutters, exterior hallways and stairwells
- Conduct light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, air filters, blinds, and shades
- Place mats and runners during inclement weather and assist in weather-related cleaning such as snow removal and storm preparations
- Report unsafe conditions, unlocked doors, and potential security breaches to manager or supervisor
