Job Requirements
- ability to read and write English
- some general maintenance related work experience preferred
- valid Florida Driver License may be required depending on assignment and work location
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- willingness to attend required training
- ability to operate safety sensitive equipment such as forklifts and saws
- ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- ability to work outside regular business hours

Job Duties
- perform unskilled landscaping and beautification including litter and garbage pickup
- conduct routine grounds and road right-of-way maintenance including mowing, cut-back, edging, weed-eating, sweeping, trimming, seeding, sodding, raking and hand-grading
- clean City facilities, grounds, right-of-ways, and parks including janitorial work, graffiti removal, sign cleaning, and pressure washing
- set up barricades and temporary traffic control devices and assist with flagging operations
- perform heavy lifting, loading and unloading, and transportation of equipment and furniture
- service, wash, assemble and disassemble vehicles and equipment
- assist with setup and breakdown of event equipment and participate in post event clean-up and documentation
