Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service or airline operations experience
- Ability to lead, direct and motivate teams
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid unexpired driver’s license
- Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
- Basic math skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in English
- Minimum age of 18
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

- Strong active listening and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, US territory or the District of Columbia
- Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate in English
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience
- Preferred previous leadership experience
Job Duties
- Leads the Ground Service Agents on shift and is responsible for the success of a team’s ability to achieve the mutually established goals of Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines
- Ensures that the Ground Service Agents follow proper procedures
- Performs leadership duties such as assigning flights for the day, scheduling and managing agents on a week to week basis
- Performs clerical functions, reports and assists with unexpected passenger needs or complaints
- Performs Ground Service Agent duties
- Monitors and enforces safety standards
- Facilitates team communication and resolves conflicts
