Job Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- must be a U.S. citizen
- must have two years recent experience working on aircraft ground support equipment and/or appropriate training
- must be able to meet physical requirements and pass medical examinations
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- must have a valid driver's license
- position requires ability to pass and maintain Security Clearance
- ability to obtain and maintain Government Common Access Card
- must meet and maintain all base access security requirements
- pre-employment drug screening required
- may be required to pass U.S. Government background security check
- must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- must be able to travel on CONUS/OCONUS deployments
- employee must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria including pre-deployment medical screening
- must be able to acquire and maintain valid flight-line Government Driver's License
- for OCONUS deployments, must have valid U.S. passport with minimum two years remaining and at least two facing pairs of blank visa pages

- possess a valid U.S. passport with required visa pages for OCONUS deployments
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of ground support equipment using conventional and digital testing tools
- perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on ground support equipment
- inspect, test, and operate ground support equipment to determine serviceability
- service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air
- disassemble and assemble malfunctioning equipment components
- remove, clean, treat for corrosion, and reinstall ground support equipment components and accessories
- maintain vehicle and equipment records
- provide dispatch services for ground support equipment
- practice good housekeeping, tool control, and safety
- comply with environmental standards in handling hazardous materials
- perform all other duties as assigned
