Job Requirements
- Lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) regularly
- Carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs
- Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling and stooping
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and noisy environments
- Be punctual and prepared
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance including a 10-year employment, criminal record and residence background check
- Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate
- Transport, load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail
- Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies
- Operate heavy equipment to move luggage and cargo, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories
- Be on time, be prepared, and be safe
