Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED diploma
- one year of customer service or sales experience
- minimum age of 18 years
- complete fluency in written and spoken English
- ability to adhere to uniform policy
- availability for variable hours including holidays and weekends
- adherence to safety guidelines
- ability to work under pressure and time constraints
- ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- willingness to travel occasionally for training or assignments

Job Qualifications

- competent in using handheld radios and headsets

- physical ability to handle objects up to fifty pounds frequently and seventy to one hundred pounds occasionally with assistance
- able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area Badge
- depending on location, may need United States Customs Clearance
- possess and maintain a valid driver's license meeting insurance standards
- must pass a pre-employment drug test
- legally eligible to work in the US
- good standing in attendance, performance, and safety for internal candidates
Job Duties
- Operate ground service equipment which includes motor vehicles, tugs, and elevated de-icing equipment
- service aircraft by operating ground service equipment such as potable water trucks, ground power units, tugs, aircraft pushback, lavatory trucks, and deicing trucks
- work in a ramp environment
- tag, lift, load and unload customer bags including those in excess of 100 lbs from baggage compartments and baggage systems
- operate external aircraft equipment
- help prepare the cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories
- assist customers with special needs such as boarding assistance
- guide aircraft to and from parking locations
- carry handheld radios and communicate using proper radio etiquette
- occasionally assist with loading and unloading mail, small packages, and human remains
- ensure and maintain a safe environment and operation
- perform other duties as assigned
