Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) diploma
- One year of customer service or sales experience
- Complete fluency in written and spoken English
- Able to adhere to JetBlue Uniform Policy Manual standards
- Able to travel and work variable hours including holidays and weekends
- Able to follow safety guidelines
- Able to perform under pressure and meet fixed time constraints
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to give and receive verbal communication
- Able to use handheld radios and headsets to communicate
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of 70 to 100 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License meeting JetBlue insurance standards
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US
- Must maintain professional appearance and comply with attendance and punctuality policies
- Must be available for occasional overnight travel
- Must be able to work in airport ramp environment under elevated noise levels and weather variations
- Must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Must not use automated tools during interview process

- Able to communicate effectively using handheld radios and headsets
- Positive, good-natured attitude
- Ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and 70 to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and meet insurance standards
- Available for occasional overnight travel
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- For internal candidates, good standing in attendance, performance, and safety
- Previous airline experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite preferred
Job Duties
- Operate ground service equipment including motor vehicles, tugs, and elevated de-icing equipment
- Service aircraft using various ground service vehicles such as potable water trucks, ground power units, tugs, pushback tractors, lavatory trucks, and deicing trucks
- Work in the ramp environment ensuring coordination of aircraft servicing and safety
- Tag, lift, load, and unload customer baggage from aircraft and baggage systems handling weights in excess of 100 pounds
- Operate external aircraft equipment assisting with aircraft ground operations
- Prepare aircraft cabin for departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories
- Assist customers with special needs during boarding and deplaning
- Guide aircraft to and from parking locations while communicating via handheld radios
- Assist in loading and unloading mail, small packages, and human remains
- Maintain a safe environment and follow safety protocols at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
