Job Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) diploma
- One year of customer service or sales experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Complete fluency in written and spoken English
- Must be able to adhere to JetBlue Uniform Policy Manual standards
- Able to travel and work variable hours including holidays and weekends
- Able to follow safety guidelines
- Able to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Able to make occasional trips to other locations for training or temporary assignment
- Must be able to give and receive verbal communication
- Must be able to use handheld radios and headsets for communication
- Maintaining a positive, good-natured attitude
- Ability to handle objects up to 50 pounds frequently and/or 70-100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
- May need to acquire and maintain United States Customs Clearance depending on location
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets JetBlue’s insurance standards
- Complete an assessment evaluating adaptability, safety orientation, and teamwork
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment
- Authorization to work in the US required with no visa sponsorship
- For internal candidates, good standing in attendance, performance, and safety

Job Duties
- Operate ground service equipment including motor vehicles, tugs, and elevated de-icing equipment
- Services aircraft by operating ground service equipment including potable water trucks, ground power units, tugs, aircraft pushback, lavatory trucks, and deicing trucks
- Work in a ramp environment
- Tag, lift, load and unload customer bags often in excess of 100 lbs from baggage compartments and baggage systems
- Operate external aircraft equipment
- Help prepare aircraft cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories
- Assist customers with special needs such as boarding assistance
- Guide aircraft to and from parking locations
- Carry handheld radios and communicate effectively using proper radio etiquette
- Occasionally assist with loading and unloading mail, small packages, and human remains
- Ensure and maintain a safe working environment and operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
