Job Requirements
- Must be well organized
- Must be able to multi-task throughout the shift
- Must possess good communication skills including written, verbal and radio communications
- Must understand the phonetic alphabet and aviation acronyms
- Must maintain good working relationships with fellow teammates
- Must have customer service or line service experience
- Must have the ability to learn and understand safety procedures including possible hazards on the airfield
- Must have the ability to learn and use various computer software and point of sale systems
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must have ability to make operational decisions when necessary
- Must have a valid state driver's license
Job Qualifications
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
- An associate degree in aviation or business related field is preferred
- Prior aviation experience is preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass airport security background check
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Job Duties
- Meeting, greeting, and welcoming passengers and flight crews of customer aircraft arriving on the ramp
- Directing customers to terminal facility or to guests picking them up
- Positioning rental vehicles to meet arriving aircraft
- Assisting with offloading luggage and baggage
- Escorting customer vehicles on and off the airfield
- Assisting flight crews with service needs including baggage and transportation
- Directing flight crews to terminal for fuel or service orders
- Assisting with trash removal and cleaning of aircraft interior
- Delivering catering, coffee, ice, and newspapers during departure preparation
- Following up to ensure completion of fuel and service orders for timely departure
- Loading luggage from carts or vehicles into the aircraft
- Returning rental vehicles to the parking lot
- Assisting teammates when not servicing customers
- Thanking customers and welcoming them back
- Assisting with improving best practices for customer service
- Completing other duties assigned by management
