Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- required motions include bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- exposure to temperatures around 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks

Job Duties
- Ensures fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products
- stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases
- monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisor
- maintains back stock in good order
- assists with sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing
- completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
- assists with periodic inventory checks
- arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service and addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
- maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
- follows health, sanitation, weights and measures, and safe work practices
- maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties including ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned by leadership
