Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in grocery retail or supervisory role
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good physical stamina to handle standing and lifting tasks
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to comply with safety and health regulations
- Ability to travel occasionally

Job Duties
- Supervise and facilitate daily operations of the grocery department
- Actively promote team synergy and provide operational support to other departments
- Assist with scheduling and assigning employees
- Follow up on work results and maintain staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining
- Plan, monitor, and appraise job results
- Assist with orienting and training employees within the grocery department
- Greet and assist customers modeling exemplary conduct
- Ensure availability of merchandise and oversee inventory management
- Communicate proactively with purchasing team to manage product levels
- Assist with database management and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Apply product codes, labels, price labels, and price tags for identification and POS scanning
- Record and count inventories promptly and accurately
- Market merchandise through advertising, sales promotion, and display plans
- Protect employees and customers by ensuring a safe and clean store environment and compliance with health, safety, and security regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the store manager or delegate
- Travel as required
