Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience as a grocery or warehouse clerk
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, and handling products
  • Capability to climb ladders for warehouse tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely including forklifts and pallet jacks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in grocery or warehouse clerk roles preferred
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse technologies
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of inventory systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Place and manage orders for store merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of items
  • Verify and track orders from suppliers, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and salespeople to ensure optimal order fulfillment
  • Oversee department standards, maintain accurate stock levels, proper codes, and good rotation of items
  • Verify invoices for accurate billing and maintain inventory control
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts and adjust orders accordingly
  • Review all DSD deliveries to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods
