Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred experience as a grocery or warehouse clerk
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-hour shifts
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, stooping, and handling products
- Capability to climb ladders for warehouse tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely including forklifts and pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in grocery or warehouse clerk roles preferred
- Proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse technologies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of inventory systems and procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and health and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Place and manage orders for store merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of items
- Verify and track orders from suppliers, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and salespeople to ensure optimal order fulfillment
- Oversee department standards, maintain accurate stock levels, proper codes, and good rotation of items
- Verify invoices for accurate billing and maintain inventory control
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts and adjust orders accordingly
- Review all DSD deliveries to ensure accurate and timely receipt of goods
