Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse and/or management experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical activities including bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling
- Ability to lift and move items weighing 40 lbs or more
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to interact professionally with team members
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or management experience preferred
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Familiarity with warehouse safety and security protocols
- Ability to coach, discipline, and appraise employee performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Physical capability to perform prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to lift and move products or materials weighing 40 lbs or more
Job Duties
- Build and manage a high-performance team
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Plan, monitor, and appraise job results
- Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, and following up on work results
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Work on the store's busiest days and weekends
- Work a rotating schedule alternating between day and night shifts
