Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel and squat
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to push, pull and maneuver heavy loads
- willingness to work swing shifts
- customer service experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian preferred
- experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment preferred
- basic math skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow merchandising guidelines
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- provide excellent customer service within the grocery, dairy and frozen food departments
- ensure the grocery, dairy and frozen food departments are well stocked, clean, organized, rotated and merchandised appropriately
- maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Grocery Manager
- assist customers with dietary and allergy-related questions
- help in receiving and organizing inventory
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
