Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to work part-time hours including possible weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- capable of bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- ability to work in cold environments
- strong focus on customer service
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian
- experience working in retail and customer service-oriented environments
- strong communication skills
- ability to work well in a team
- commitment to maintaining store standards
- basic understanding of merchandising principles
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service within the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments
- ensure the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments are well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and merchandised appropriately
- maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Grocery Manager
- assist customers by answering questions and guiding product selections
- support store cleanliness and safety standards
- handle the physical demands of lifting, bending, and pushing
- work efficiently in fast-paced retail environment
