Job Requirements

  • Basic education or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for job functions
  • Ability to frequently work with sharp knives and hot equipment
  • Ability to work in hot environments
  • Availability to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Basic food preparation skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP food safety and sanitation standards
  • 0-1 years of related experience preferred
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining environments preferred
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Good communication skills with customers and team members

Job Duties

  • Prepare grilled or fried foods according to recipes and product directions
  • Operate fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg cooking stations
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
  • Maintain high-quality service to customers and associates
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following HACCP standards
  • Measure and mix ingredients and prepare fruits and vegetables
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check food product temperatures
