Job Requirements

  • Basic food preparation skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • 0 to 1 years of closely related experience
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
  • Ability to work with sharp knives, utensils and hot plates
  • Ability to work in hot environment

Job Qualifications

  • Basic food preparation skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in high volume or fast casual dining environments preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare grilled or fried foods following recipes and product directions
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues to management and servers
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation complying with HACCP standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment including fryers and flat top griddles
  • Measure and mix ingredients, prepare vegetables and fruits
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of food products
