Job Requirements
- Have a current TAPS and MOA Food Worker Card or willingness to obtain
- Have one or more years of serving experience
- Open availability preferred but must be available Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Have a positive service and employment record
- Stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
- Lift and carry 30 or more pounds
- Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Bend, reach, stoop, move quickly, and wipe frequently
- Work in close proximity to coworkers in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage terminology
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a current TAPS Card and Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
- Previous serving or bartending experience is required
- One year or more of serving experience preferred
- Open availability, especially Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- Positive service and employment record
- Passionate about food and beverages
- Comfortable explaining food and beverage options
- Team player with willingness to assist other positions
Job Duties
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Extensive knowledge of the food, drink, and specials menus
- Accurately take, ring in, and serve orders to the customers' specifications
- Able to use the POS systems with efficiency
- Monitor guests throughout their visit, ensuring their satisfaction with products and services
- Conduct all monetary transactions with attention to detail
- Handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly
- Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all persons in the restaurant
- Complete all opening, closing, and side duties
- Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
