Job Requirements

  • At least 2+ years experience as a line cook working in a fast-paced environment
  • legally able to work in establishments which serve alcohol
  • must be able to provide legal documentation to work in the US
  • strong problem solving and communication skills
  • exceptional time management skills and level headed with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds
  • willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
  • flexible schedule to include evenings weekends and holidays
  • commitment to the production of high quality outputs and excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Slicing cutting shredding tenderizing and skewering meat and vegetables
  • braising and grilling meat and vegetables
  • checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption
  • preventing cross-contamination
  • preparing meals in accordance with customers' preferences if applicable
  • tracking the components of each meal to ensure timely completion
  • liaising with waitstaff once orders are finalized
  • ensuring workstation remains clean and orderly
  • tracking inventory to ensure adequate supplies
  • reporting maintenance deficiencies requiring immediate attention
  • reporting any loss or damage of furniture fixtures or equipment
  • ensuring the proper use and care of equipment
  • maintaining cleanliness of service and surrounding areas
  • meeting weekly with Chef de Cuisine Executive Chef Corporate Chef or as directed
