Job Description

The role being offered is that of a Food Service Worker reporting to the Nutritional Services Personnel Manager. It is a part-time to full-time position with flexible scheduling options, including weekday and weekend shifts, accommodating various availability and needs. The position comes with substantial sign-on bonuses ranging from $300 for part-time hours (8 to 24 hours per week) to $2,000 for full-time hours (24+ hours per week). Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Ability to lift 10 to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to push and pull food and service carts
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, bend, reach, grasp, and move wrists frequently
  • Ability to use large kitchen equipment such as food processors, microwaves, ovens, and steamers
  • Must attend mandatory in-service training and complete educational activities
  • Must be able to work varied shift schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Must follow dress code and safety policies

Job Duties

  • Oversee and prepare food and drinks in proper quantities and quality according to established policies
  • Serve food neatly, attractively, and at the proper temperature
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Follow proper procedures of sanitation and safety
  • Take and record food temperatures as scheduled
  • Keep own working area clean and neat
  • Report any incident of abuse, neglect, or unsafe condition to immediate supervisor
