Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen
  • or a college degree in culinary arts
  • ability to work at various stations
  • knowledge of baking cakes and bread
  • good understanding of continental cuisine
  • skill in portioning fish, poultry and seafood
  • ability to prepare sauces and salad dressings
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation
  • work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • work at any station for all daily meal periods
  • bake cakes and bread
  • have good knowledge of continental cuisine
  • portion fish, poultry and seafood
  • prepare sauces and salad dressings
  • re-stock the station for the next day
  • requisition food for any type of station
  • breakdown and clean station
  • clean and sanitize working area
  • create preparation list for different stations including part levels
  • check with the sous chef before clocking out
