Job Requirements
- stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
- work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
- lift and carry 30 plus lbs
- bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
- previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- ability to communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
- organization and prioritization skills
- good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Job Duties
- adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
- communicate orders, changes, and modifications with FOH and BOH staff
- read printed tickets and prepare garnish and items for sale
- inspect dishes and tickets for modifications and accuracy
- ensure the cleanliness of the expo stations throughout the shift
- communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
- complete all opening, closing, and side duties
- other duties as assigned
- work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
