Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • no prior cooking experience required
  • no supervisor experience required
  • ability to work approximately 30 hours per week
  • flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • capability to use flat top grill and deep fat fryer
  • willing to move to different food service areas as needed

Job Duties

  • Take orders from customers providing exceptional service
  • cook a variety of grilled and fried menu items ensuring correct cooking and holding temperatures
  • properly handle and store food following regulatory requirements
  • chill and store foods in designated areas following labeling, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures
  • complete designated food safety quality control logs
  • clean kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure high sanitation standards
  • serve as primary customer service representative providing quick, friendly and efficient service
  • prepare grilled and deep fried food using flat top grill, char-broiler, and deep fat fryer
  • ensure proper and consistent food portioning
