Job Requirements

  • partial high school education required
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • culinary knowledge
  • food safety certification
  • strong sanitation habits
  • ability to stand for the entire work day
  • ability to lift, carry, and push weights up to 50 lbs
  • ability to withstand temperature extremes in work environment
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • physical presence at job site essential

Job Duties

  • set up, restock, and break down the grill
  • produce daily meal items and menu specials
  • prepare daily specials, hot sandwiches, and sides for service
  • follow recipes and product directions for cooking and seasoning foods
  • operate kitchen equipment for food preparation
  • taste food products and manage production requirements
  • control food waste and recycle or dispose of extra food properly
  • clean all grill equipment and utensils
  • maintain temperature logs and signage for grill station
  • report safety issues to management
