Job Requirements
- Previous 2 to 3 years grill line cooking experience is required
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday with varying hours
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Ability to follow established recipes and procedures
- Must be able to carry pans and trays safely
- Availability for full-time employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous 2 to 3 years grill line cooking experience required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in work area
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Serves customers efficiently and friendly following established service steps
- Ensures food is at correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items
- Uses ticket-collection procedures during service
- Maintains records from area worked during service periods
- Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely
- Stores foods properly with correct wrapping, dating, and rotation
- Cleans and sanitizes all assigned areas, equipment, and utensils
- Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Performs job safely and maintains clean, safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
