- One year of prior grill cook experience
- ability to work full-time with varying schedules including rotating weekends
- willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to carry pans, trays, and kettles
- capability to resolve customer concerns
- availability to attend safety meetings
- ability to perform physical tasks safely
- ability to work well with others
Job Qualifications
- One year of prior grill cook experience
- ability to follow recipes and production standards
- capability to maintain quality and portion control
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment
- basic food safety knowledge
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
- ensures food is at correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- tastes all prepared food items
- uses established ticket-collection procedures
- maintains records from area worked during service periods
- uses approved recipes and production standards for quality, serving temperatures, and portion control
- carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely
- stores foods properly following standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
- cleans and sanitizes assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils
- resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- performs other duties as assigned
