Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout shifts
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
- Pushing and pulling
- Lifting overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is an asset
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and food preparation instructions
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
Job Duties
- Take ownership of the daily preparation and execution of food items in the grill station
- Follow recipes, procedures, and presentation standards consistently
- Produce highest quality chicken and menu items efficiently
- Work as a team to support fellow grillers and service staff
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with team members to exceed customer expectations
