Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills are required
  • Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout shift
  • Must be able to walk and or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
  • Pushing and pulling
  • Lifting overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels

Job Duties

  • Take full ownership of the daily preparation and execution of food items in their station
  • Provide exceptional Nando's experience by efficiently and consistently producing the highest quality chicken and other menu items
  • Follow recipes, procedures and presentation standards consistently
  • Work as a team player assisting one another and collaborating with the service team
  • Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Ensure timely food production to meet customer expectations
