Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a grill cook role preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of steak temperatures and grilling techniques a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • A team-oriented attitude with effective communication skills
  • Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler's Certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including steaks burgers chicken ribs and seafood according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Efficiently operate grills ovens and other kitchen equipment ensuring safety and compliance
  • Ensure proper portioning seasoning and presentation of dishes to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Monitor food temperatures to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workstation for optimal efficiency
  • Stock and replenish supplies at the grill station as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Follow company policies procedures and health department regulations to maintain high standard of kitchen operations
  • Assist with food prep and other back-of-house duties as required
