Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of grill or short-order cooking experience preferred
- knowledge of grilling techniques, food safety, and proper temperature control
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
- must pass background screening for access to Warner Robins AFB
Job Duties
- prepare, season, and cook grilled menu items including meats, poultry, vegetables, and breakfast items
- operate and maintain grills, flat tops, broilers, and other cooking equipment
- follow standardized recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines
- ensure food is cooked to proper internal temperatures and served promptly
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grill station and cooking utensils
- assist with restocking, prep work, and food rotation as needed
- comply with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
- communicate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal service during peak times
- provide courteous and professional service to all personnel
