Job Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time with a flexible schedule including weekdays and some weekends
  • Must have prior experience in Asian cuisine preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cooking
  • Must comply with all safety and sanitation policies
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in Asian cuisine preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

Job Duties

  • Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
  • Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
  • Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established service standards
  • Ensures food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Tastes food items to ensure quality
  • Uses approved recipes and adheres to production standards for quality and portion control
  • Carries food items safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator
  • Stores food following proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain sanitation standards
  • Resolves customer concerns and communicates relevant information to supervisors
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Performs all duties while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Executes other assigned duties as required
