Job Requirements

- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant

- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- High degree of pace and intensity for extended periods
- Strong menu knowledge
- Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets

Job Duties
- Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Prepare visually appealing meals, prepare all items in a timely manner, deliver hot and fresh meals
- Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods according to proper preparation methods per the current Bob Evans recipe book
- Work with approved cooking equipment and cooking methods to deliver high quality meals
- Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
- Understand and comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
- Prioritize food preparation so that all items for check are finished at the same time
- Properly maintain and operate equipment effectively
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
