Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls

  • Ability to access all areas of restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant

  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
  • High degree of pace and intensity for extended periods
  • Strong menu knowledge
  • Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
  • 0-2 years related experience

Job Duties

  • Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Prepare visually appealing meals, prepare all items in a timely manner, deliver hot and fresh meals
  • Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods according to proper preparation methods per the current Bob Evans recipe book
  • Work with approved cooking equipment and cooking methods to deliver high quality meals
  • Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
  • Understand and comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
  • Prioritize food preparation so that all items for check are finished at the same time
  • Properly maintain and operate equipment effectively
  • Assist in other job categories as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
