Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Strong menu knowledge
  • Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
  • Experience in food preparation preferred but not required
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and proper use

Job Duties

  • Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Prepare visually appealing meals, preparing all items in a timely manner, delivering hot and fresh meals
  • Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods
  • Work with approved cooking equipment and methods to deliver high-quality meals
  • Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
  • Understand and comply with portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Prioritize food preparation to finish all items for checks at the same time
  • Properly maintain and operate kitchen equipment effectively
  • Assist in other job categories as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
