Job Duties

  • prepare food items by following recipes and product directions for grilling, seasoning, cooking, tasting, and serving foods from the grill, theme or pizza areas
  • follow all production plans as assigned by shift supervisor
  • know basic food preparation techniques including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking to order and holding food items
  • demonstrate a working knowledge of food service sanitation and infection control procedures
  • adhere to HACCP guidelines at all times
  • communicate proper information regarding customer and department needs to executive chef, food and nutrition supervisor, group leaders and peers
  • assist other areas of food and nutrition when necessary
  • maintain compliance with all hospital standards and policies
