Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods without rest
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Reach with hands and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to taste and smell food
- Effective verbal communication skills

- Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area

- Willingness to comply with health and safety procedures and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant or food preparation setting
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Good judgment and ability to plan and accomplish goals
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Strong menu knowledge
- Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
Job Duties
- Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Prepare visually appealing meals in a timely manner delivering hot and fresh meals
- Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods per Bob Evans recipe book
- Work with approved cooking equipment and methods to deliver high quality meals
- Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, and change soiled aprons promptly
- Understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
- Prioritize food preparation so that all items for check are finished at the same time
- Properly maintain and operate kitchen equipment effectively
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
