Job Requirements
- Previous grill or fry cook experience is a plus
- Ability to work full-time schedule Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to cooking and cleaning
- Ability to follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to attend safety and training meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a grill cook or fry cook is a plus
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills for portion control and order processing
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner following established steps of service
- Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service
- Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely
- Stores foods following food safety and rotation procedures
- Cleans and sanitizes all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils
- Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
