Job Requirements
- Available to work afternoon/evening shifts including some weekends and holidays
- reliable and punctual with good attendance
- ability to follow recipes and prepare food accurately
- capable of standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks
- maintain a safe and clean working environment
- able to operate kitchen equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0 to 2 years of related cooking or food preparation experience beneficial
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- strong communication and customer service skills
- basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
- prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
