Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and ability to arrive to work on time and maintain a positive attendance record
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
  • Current Food Handlers Card

Job Duties

  • Prepares all food items to meet company standards and guest expectations
  • Strong comprehension of recipes, intermediate knife and kitchen equipment skills
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is regularly maintained and operational
  • Successfully reads tickets and times food preparation to ensure top quality
  • Communicates regularly and consistently with the other stations (fry, salad and expo)
  • Assists with training new cooks as needed to ensure company standards are met
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils and working areas
  • Maintains proper amounts of inventory for all food items needed at each station
  • Assist with supervising food temperature to ensure ingredients are kept at appropriate temperatures and stored properly
  • Assist as necessary in receiving, verifying and properly storing food, beverage and supplies
  • Conduct back-of-house opening and closing tasks as required
  • Other tasks as assigned
