Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
- Willingness to perform varied duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- 0 to 2 years of related cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work weekend shifts including mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings
- Passion for food and customer service
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen equipment operation
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte station and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on account requirements and business necessities
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a healthy and safe working environment
- Reduce food waste through mindful preparation and portion control
