Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and ability to arrive to work on time and maintain a positive attendance record
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Current Food Handlers Card

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items to meet company standards and guest expectations
  • Demonstrate strong comprehension of recipes and intermediate knife and kitchen equipment skills
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is regularly maintained and operational
  • Read tickets accurately and time food preparation to ensure top quality
  • Communicate regularly and consistently with other kitchen stations including fry, salad, and expo
  • Assist with training new cooks to meet company standards
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and working areas
  • Maintain proper inventory levels for all food items at each station
  • Assist with supervising food temperature and ensure ingredients are properly stored following FIFO guidelines
  • Assist in receiving, verifying, and properly storing food, beverage, and supplies
  • Conduct back-of-house opening and closing tasks
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed
